On March 19, 2026, a gala event dedicated to the holiday of Nooruz was held in the large assembly hall of the Royal Metropolitan University. Nooruz, a great holiday celebrating the arrival of spring, renewal, and harmony, brought together students and faculty of the capital’s Royal Metropolitan University.
The event, organized jointly with the Dean’s Office and the Department of Natural Sciences and Humanities, began with Salyi Erkebulanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences and Humanities, who dressed as Umai-ene and congratulated the participants.
In honor of the holiday, a table of boorsoks and sumoloks was prepared for the entire staff and guests. The event showcased national traditions and the rich cultures of various nations.
