The Educational Institution “Royal Metropolitan University” — one of the leading centers of medical education in the Kyrgyz Republic — invites highly qualified professionals to apply for academic leadership positions:

 Head of the Department of Surgery

Requirements:

  • Higher medical education; academic degree (PhD or Doctor of Medical Sciences);
  • Proven teaching experience in higher medical education;
  • Proficiency in English (ability to teach in English-language programs);
  • Experience in organizational, methodological, and research work;
  • Previous leadership experience (Head of Department or similar) will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership of educational, clinical, methodological, and research activities of the Department;
  • Organization and supervision of the teaching process in surgical disciplines;
  • Development and implementation of modern educational programs, active participation in international projects;
  • Promotion and support of innovative research initiatives.

Head of the Department of Therapy

Requirements:

  • Higher medical education; academic degree (PhD or Doctor of Medical Sciences in Internal Medicine);
  • Teaching experience in higher medical education;
  • Excellent command of English (ability to teach in English-language programs);
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills;
  • Previous leadership experience in academic or clinical settings will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organization and coordination of the Department’s work and academic staff;
  • Ensuring high-quality teaching in clinical disciplines;
  • Academic oversight of educational programs and documentation;
  • Advancement and development of the Department’s research activities.
