Royal Metropolitan University Held a Meeting to Raise Awareness About Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

On January 17, 2026,  a meeting was held under the leadership of the RMU administration to raise awareness about drugs and narcotic substances for students of all courses and semesters of Royal Metropolitan University.

The main purpose of this workshop was to provide students with the necessary information about drug abuse and its negative impact on personal life and academic performance. Recommendations on the prevention and control of drug use and psychotropic substances were also presented. Students also participated, providing information about abuse drug use in the form of a presentation.

Conclusion: This workshop was highly appreciated by the students as it expanded their understanding of drug use and abuse. The workshop began with a presentation on the importance of academic education and academic achievement, followed by an interactive discussion with students on drug awareness.
