The 80th anniversary of Victory Day was marked by a solemn event

On the eve of the great holiday – Victory Day – the educational institution “Royal Metropolitan University” held a solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Students and faculty gathered to honour the memory of the heroes who defended freedom and peaceful skies above their heads. Students prepared a literary and musical composition with reading poems and singing war songs. Especially heartfelt were the songs “Estelik”, “Katyusha” and “Victory Day”, which were taken up by the whole hall.

At the end of the event, students and teachers planted an alley of flowers in honour of the fallen heroes. This action symbolises the link between generations: as saplings will grow and blossom, so the memory of the feat of the Soviet people should live in the hearts of descendants.

This day once again reminded everyone present how important it is to keep gratitude to the generation of winners and pass this memory to future generations.

We remember! We are proud!
