RMU approved for 2026 medical exams and admissions by PMDC

Based on the accreditation policy approved by the PMDC Council, Royal Metropolitan University has been included in the list of medical universities eligible for examinations and admission in 2026. Accordingly, our graduates are eligible to participate in the NRE examination conducted by the PMDC Council in Islamabad. After passing the mandatory NRE, a licence to practise is issued to fulfil the requirements specified in the PMDC registration rules. This policy is in line with international best practices, including those adopted for examinations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and is designed to assist foreign medical graduates.
