International Seminar “Strengthening Cooperation Among Drug Regulatory Authorities of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Countries” Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan
From November 13 till 14, 2025, Professor, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Department of Morphological and Fundamental Disciplines of the Educational Institution “Royal Metropolitan University” I. Z. Ismailov, took part in the International Seminar “Strengthening Cooperation Among Drug Regulatory Authorities of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Countries,” which was held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the event, Professor Ismailov delivered a presentation titled “Regulation of Medicinal Product Circulation in the Kyrgyz Republic,” in which he presented information on the current regulatory framework, national approaches to ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines, as well as ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the regulatory system.
The purpose of participating in the seminar was to exchange experience and establish professional connections among regulatory authorities of the region in the field of medicinal products and medical devices circulation. During the discussions, participants initiated work on developing a one-year roadmap aimed at strengthening sustainable regional cooperation and harmonizing approaches among the relevant regulatory bodies.
Participation in the seminar made it possible to expand professional contacts, present the experience of the Kyrgyz Republic, and contribute to the development of common regional mechanisms for regulating medicinal products and medical devices.
