History of Formation and Strategic Development of the Educational Institution \u201cRoyal Metropolitan University\u201d<\/h3>\n

Foundation and Commitment to National Priorities<\/em><\/h5>\n

The Educational Institution \u201cRoyal Metropolitan University\u201d (EI \u201cRMU\u201d) was established in 2019 in full alignment with the strategic priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic in reforming the healthcare system and medical education. The initiative to establish the university received support at the state level, which made it possible from the very beginning to integrate high infrastructure standards and modern teaching methodologies into the educational process.<\/p>\n

The university operates in strict accordance with the regulatory and legal framework of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a private educational organization, EI \u201cRMU\u201d contributes to the training of qualified medical professionals for the national healthcare system, based on the principles of academic integrity and effective management of internal resources to ensure the quality of the educational process.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Stages of Sequential Development<\/em><\/h5>\n

The university\u2019s development is systematic and structured, progressing through key stages of qualitative growth:<\/p>\n

  • Formation of the Academic Foundation (2018\u20132020): <\/strong>Development of the institutional concept and design of curricula in strict compliance with the state educational standards of the Kyrgyz Republic. In January 2020, the university\u2019s right to conduct educational activities was officially confirmed by a state license (No. LS200000189).<\/li>\n
  • Strengthening of Resource Potential (2019\u20132024): <\/strong>Consistent expansion of material, technical, and research infrastructure. The design and construction of academic buildings, as well as the equipping of specialized laboratories, were carried out in accordance with current requirements for high-quality professional practical training.<\/li>\n
  • International Validation and Standardization (2023\u20132025): <\/strong>As part of its commitment to continuous improvement, the university successfully underwent international programmatic and institutional accreditation (AAOPO). This confirmed the university\u2019s readiness to follow global quality trends while preserving its national educational identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Management System Certification:<\/strong> The university has successfully undergone an independent audit of its Quality Management System (QMS) with the participation of AJA Registrars LLC. Based on the audit results, the university\u2019s QMS was recognized as compliant with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 (management systems for educational organizations). The issuance of a three-year certificate confirms the transparency and effectiveness of the university\u2019s internal management processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Educational Activities and Integration<\/em><\/h5>\n

      Currently, the university provides training in the \u0432\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0440\u0435\u0431\u043e\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0435 (in-demand) fields of General Medicine and Dentistry. The educational programs are adapted to the needs of the modern labor market and are based on a synthesis of national pedagogical experience and advanced international practices.<\/p>\n

      External Engagement and Professional Partnership:\u00a0 <\/strong>The university views professional integration as a fundamental tool for continuous growth:<\/p>\n

      At the national level: <\/strong>An application process has been initiated to join the Association of Medical Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to actively participate in shaping a unified educational space within the country.<\/p>\n

      At the international level: <\/strong>EI \u201cRMU\u201d is an active member of AMSA and is systematically working toward integration into reputable international associations (WAUC, EUA, UNESCO, BRIMEA), which provides access to global knowledge exchange for both faculty and students.<\/p>\n

      The Educational Institution \u201cRoyal Metropolitan University\u201d is an organization that consistently follows state policy in the fields of education and science. Each achieved milestone is regarded as a foundation for further development.
